Doghouse Yarns is carrying our jewelry.
Our friend Roseanne opened a lovely yarn shop, Doghouse Yarns, in Culpepper. You receive a warm welcome the moment you step inside. The shop is bright and full of amazing yarns, fibers, needles, hooks and spindles. Take a look at her site - even better get a group of friends and visit her shop.

Seawall Art Show in Portsmouth
We had a great show - we only brought home a dozen plates and 2 suncatchers!
I have to praise and thank everyone who organized and volunteered to put on this show. Everyone was cordial and so helpful - we were so surprised when we were setting up and they brought us breakfast!
I only had time to take a few quick shots while we were setting up.

I was too far away to get a good picture - so you cannot see how pretty these plates were. |

Suncatcher
I did not get a chance to get a picture before I took it to the show on Saturday - so I took a quick snap of it on our table a short time before my friend Alice bought it.

In our studios getting ready for upcoming shows.
Here I am in my studio getting ready for the RCK Market Faire on Saturday and Seawall Art Show the end of the month.
I do all the messy work, sawing and grinding glass in the garage...or Studio B as I like to call it.
Nancy is busy working, too. She has a really nice studio - a bright sunporch that has all of her glass and equipment in one place.
The end of the month we will be in Portsmouth at the Seawall Art Show on August 28th and 29th.
I will updating our show schedule next week.

For those of you who know her, yarn is not her only stash!
Let's take a sneak peak in her kiln.
We will be at The River City Knitters Market Faire this Saturday. It is open to everyone so hope to see you there.
I will updating our show schedule next week.

Nancy's new knee and Bo's progress.
Nancy is doing very well since her complete knee replacement. She is working hard at her physical therapy and has a good range of motion.
Bo has now completed two sessions of treatment and is back home regaining strength. It will take about a month before the doctors can access the effects.

Bo begins treatment for cancer on Tuesday
Many of our friends out there know that recently doctors found a return of cancer cell in Bo my sister Nancy's, husband. I wanted to give you an update and thank you for your continued prayers. Bo will report to the hospital on Tuesday and begin Interleukin-2(IL2) treatment. He will be in the hospital for a week and receive treatment every 8 hrs - home for a week to regain strength and back to the hospital for another week of treatment. The doctor said there is 10% chance of recovery and 30% chance of remission.
We surely are praying for that 10%.
